Now, I am a juggler, but not so much while walking a tightrope. Most entrepreneurs know how time-consuming our businesses are; the problem is no one else seems to get it. People hear “entrepreneur” and assume you sit home in your pajamas every day (which may or may not be true), with your feet up and surf the internet. But, the reality is being an entrepreneur requires tenacity, focus, and ability to do a lot of work. You work 24/7. You work in between naps, in between meals, in between exercise, and meetings, and calls, and life. Your life is now your job. People who work for others think that the job is their life. But, at some point they can turn it off. When you have your own enterprise — no matter how big or small — you can never fully turn off. If you turn off, the business turns off to an extent.
